Victoria Body

Core JK-SK; Christian Education 3-4, 7-8; Split Grade Support

This will be Victoria's eighth year teaching JK/SK and her third year teaching Christian Education. Victoria enjoys experiencing God's children and the beauty of His world by traveling as a missionary to Central America. She enjoys playing sports and watching them live. She thanks the Lord for calling her to be a teacher which she states is the best job! The children bring life, innocence and a smile to each day that she is with them.

This is Doreen's third full year at Foundation. Doreen was born and raised in Elmira but has spent the previous fifteen years in overseas missions. She, along with her husband and her three daughters served in Fiji and, most recently, in Nepal. They have also done short-term assignments in Haiti and Brazil. Most of their service has been in the area of discipleship training; however, during the time in Nepal Doreen was serving in an international mission school as a teacher and a principal. The year before they left Nepal she set up the primary section of the Kathmandu International Study Centre. Most of her teaching experience, both overseas and in Ontario, has been in multi-grade classrooms. She has also worked as a temporary secretary and as the "fry-girl" at McDonalds! She likes to sing and play piano. Her other interests include trekking or hiking, travelling, and reading. She's looking forward to the colours of fall.
